The Community Outreach & Resource Exchange (CORE) Office is a welcoming space where you can connect with caring staff dedicated to helping you focus on what matters most – your health.

Many factors influence your overall well-being. The CORE team helps address those factors through:

• Resource navigation and connection
• Access to free or low-cost health and safety supplies

What We Offer

Health Screenings

Take charge of your health with free preventive screenings available in Room 312:
  • Cholesterol & Glucose Testing
  • Body Composition Scans
  • Blood Pressure Checks

Why Screenings Matter:

Early testing and detection can help prevent conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension.

What to Expect:

  • Cholesterol & Glucose Testing: A simple finger poke; takes 15–20 minutes. You’ll receive a printed copy of your results including total cholesterol, non-HDL, HDL, and glucose.
  • Body Composition Scan: Measures total body weight, BMI, fat distribution, muscle mass, and body water. Shoes and socks removed; takes about 10–15 minutes. Includes a 5-page results report.
  • Blood Pressure Check: Quick, easy, and done in 5 minutes.

Resource Navigation

Finding help shouldn’t be hard. The CORE Office provides one-on-one support to connect you with the right programs and services.

We assist with:

  • Locating food pantries and distributions
  • Connecting to baby pantries (diapers, wipes, etc.)
  • Scheduling healthcare appointments
  • Completing forms and phone calls
  • Applying for benefits (SNAP, etc.)
  • Linking to care management or disability attorneys
