#21: Be gentle on yourself (FB)

Be gentle on yourself knowing pain, shame, and grief lessen over time. Remember the future holds more kind, soft, and happy moments than you can see right now. Find and focus on the positives in life. This does not mean that you have to forget or invalidate the struggles you’ve experienced, it means that you do not have to suffer quite so deeply.
